Due to the mandate that no more than five in a group are to meet at one time outside of your individual family, our worship services and all meetings and activities have been cancelled until March 31.

This has been a demanding time on all of us.  I have never seen anything like this in all my 42 years in the ministry.

I have put together some scriptures that I have been reading and studying that have blessed me with Spiritual Hope and Strength during this long quarantine time.  I pray that they will help you in this time as well.

Come back next week and I will have more scriptures that will help you continue to Keep The Faith.

Pastor Mark

Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong and of good courage, don’t be afraid, nor be scared of them: for Yahweh your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.”

Psalm 31:24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!

Psalm 33:22 Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.

Psalm 71:14 But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.

Psalm 119:114

“You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.”

Psalm 130:7

“O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.”

Psalm 147:11

“The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.”

Psalm 38:15 But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.

Proverbs 10:28 The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.

Isaiah 40:31

“But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.”

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3:24

“‘The LORD is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I hope in Him!’”

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Romans 8:24-25

“For we were saved in hope but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees? But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.”

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 12:12

“Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.”

Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Romans 15:13

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Galatians 5:5

“For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.”

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:8

“But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.”

Hebrews 6:18-19 So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain,

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.”

1 Peter 1:3-5

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became the father of us again to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance, and that doesn’t fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who by the power of God are guarded through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

Titus 3:7 So that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Finding Strength in the Lord – Quotes from Christian Authors

“The key is this: Meet today’s problems with today’s strength. Don’t start tackling tomorrow’s problems until tomorrow. You do not have tomorrow’s strength yet. You simply have enough for today,” — Max Lucado, Traveling Light: Releasing the Burdens You Were Never Intended to Bear

“Throughout the Bible we find a simple formula: When the Word goes in, praise goes up, and faith goes out, God goes forth to strengthen His people.” — Dr. David Jeremiah, Sanctuary: Finding Moments of Refuge in the Presence of God

“Tears shed for self are tears of weakness, but tears shed for others are a sign of strength.” — Billy Graham

“In those desperate times when we feel like we don’t have an ounce of strength, He will gently pick up our heads so that our eyes can behold something-something that will keep His hope alive in us.” — Kathy Troccoli, author of Falling in Love with Jesus
